Ok, I'm in third year in secondary school here in Ireland. At the end of the year we have these big test called the Junior Certificate. There is one two hour test for each subject you do (which for me is eleven
This in itself is not so bad. But the pressure that the teachers put on you is unreal!!! It's "Junior Cert this" and "Junior Cert that" and it's putting lots of un-necessary pressure on the students. The teachers are constantly going on about it (that and the Mocks, which are preparation tests for the Junior Cert). And their making it out to be a big deal if you get lower than a C1(C+) that your life is over and you might as well kill yourself then and there.
It's making me nervous, though I know that, if I study (fat chance) I will do well, but the fact that the JC is always brought up in every class is making it harder to be calm about. When the time actually comes I'm going to be freaking out!!! So if I never put up another picture again it's because I've died of a brain anurism.
